Privacy policy

The Castle Rolls is a static site with no user accounts, no sign-up forms and no newsletter. We don't collect or store personal data on our own servers. Here's what does happen when you visit.

Third-party services this site uses

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and handles routine security/performance logging (request metadata, not form data — we don't have forms).
• Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google's font CDN, which can see the requesting IP address, the same as any font or image loaded from a third-party server.
• Google Maps — each castle page embeds a Google Maps view of that castle's location. Google may set cookies or collect data through that embed under its own privacy policy.
• Amazon Associates — "Find it on Amazon" links are affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). Amazon may set tracking cookies once you click through to amazon.co.uk, governed by Amazon's own privacy policy, not ours.

Cookies

The Castle Rolls itself doesn't set any cookies. The third-party services above may set their own when their content loads or you click through to them — that's between you and them, under their respective policies.
