The Castle Rolls
Castle wedding venues in Wales.
14 castles in Wales that host weddings, strongest first. Wales has more castles per square mile than anywhere in Europe, but only a small number of them take weddings — most are Cadw ruins. These are the ones that do. Every entry is either described by a real visitor or confirmed on the venue’s own site, and each card says which.

Where this list comes from
Castles get onto this roll one of two ways, and each card says which. Some are here because a real visitor described a wedding at the castle in a Google review; that side is deliberately conservative, filtering out wedding anniversary dinners and historical royal weddings. The rest are here because the castle's own site markets weddings, with a link so you can check - which is the harder evidence of the two, not the weaker. A venue missing from this roll simply hasn't reached us from either source yet - corrections are always welcome.
Always check before you book
Being on this roll is a steer, not a booking. We hold no prices, capacities, licence status or available dates, and all four change constantly - check the castle's own page (linked from every entry) and speak to the venue directly before you plan anything around it.
